Disclaimer

Hello Readers,

These disclaimer pages are not new to me as a writer, but they may be new to you. This story fell into my lap by surprise but it was ultimately a good surprise overall. It's one I've wanted to tell for quite some time now but never really had it piece itself together until recently.

This story takes place in the world of Atalan, the same as my other stories you can find on the Related Stories page. This is a world with a fluid lore, history, and pantheon that'll be expressed through all of my stories you can find there. If you enjoy this one, I definitely recommend you check out my others!

I'm an ambitious person, clearly, when it comes to writing a story and, more importantly, I want to be sure I tell all my stories to the best of my abilities. This story is going to be a very large (and welcome) challenge for me due to it's complexity and editing required.

This story has a lot of dark images on dark backgrounds, which may be difficult to see on mobile platforms.

This story is a sort of branch-off from the Reapers Legacy. My initial thought was I would fold this story into the Reapers but it got too big and I wanted to do it justice, so here we are - its own fancy blog that I'm pretty proud of and a teaser image or two.

Let's get on to my favorite part, shall we?

Where the Willow Walks will portray the following:
  • Violence.
  • Blood, Gore, and otherwise Grisly Images.
  • Torture.
  • Depictions of Enslavement.
  • Familial Abuse.
  • Sexual Assault and Prostitution.
  • Sexually Charged Material and Themes.
  • Homicides, Suicides, and General Death.

If you listen closely... you can hear the sounds of all the people judging me for my disclaimers. I bite my thumb at all of your judgment. Yes so, these things are clearly deep and horrendous topics and I do not throw them around lightly so I ask you do not either. I'll try to add trigger warnings to the top of my chapters when necessary however you have been warned. This story is a work of fiction, and is not suitable for young children. Please imagine me sighing heavily after that line, thank you. Any characters or events that resemble actual people or events is entirely coincidental.

This story is a real story I've written using the Sims and other graphic arts as a medium. I hope you'll enjoy it as soon as you're done judging me for my beautiful disclaimer. If this is your first story by me that you're reading, I apologize for my general sass on this page, but after you've written 4 different disclaimers... you get what you see above

Thanks for your kind patience and silent judgment, I hope you enjoy the story!

    1. It's a Shakespeare reference. We're Shakespeare nerds. It's from his ever-popular Romeo and Juliet, the Act I Scene I when the Montagues get into a verbal and then physical fight with the Capulets out and about. Biting of the thumb is essentially like flipping someone off. They've got some famous lines for it! Heh...

It is a me story, one that's still in the works and that I wasn't planning on releasing until... well certain Reaper plots, but I just decided to toss it in for those brave enough to find my mini link!
